Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer says the effort his players put in to their 0-0 draw in the FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool at Anfield was "first class".

Alex Baptiste had a goal-bound header brilliantly saved by Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet, as the Championship side gave Brendan Rodgers' Premier League team a scare.

Liverpool pressed late in the game as Jordan Henderson had a volleyed effort saved, but a replay at Ewood Park now awaits the sides.
