Chester: Steve Burr bemoans state of Racecourse Ground pitch

Chester manager Steve Burr bemoans the state of the Racecourse Ground pitch in Saturday's 1-0 local derby loss to Wrexham, City's second straight defeat.

"Sometimes it happens," Burr told BBC Radio Merseyside. "There will be a few more of these surfaces before the end of the season - where it's dry and hard.

"But both sides had to play on it. Maybe I can look at myself, but we picked a side that had won four on the bounce prior to losing to Eastleigh."
