Reading take on Bradford in a home FA Cup quarter-final replay on Monday with a trip to Wembley the prize.
Royals fan Cis Platten was alive the last time her club reached an FA Cup semi-final - in 1927.
"It would be wonderful if they could do it again," Platten told BBC South Today.
The 93-year-old was six when the Royals took on Cardiff in that semi-final, losing 3-0 at Molineux.
Along with her late husband, Cis was a programme seller at Elm Park for 50 years and is the oldest member of STAR Supporters' Trust at Reading.
She follows the club home and away and has only missed games because of a broken hip and a Daniel O'Donnell concert.
"It's entertaining and somewhere to go," she added. "My boys always say they have to make an appointment to see because I'm always somewhere. I really love it."
