Chelsea-PSG: First-leg fouls caused Blues' reaction - Pat Nevin

Pat Nevin says the behaviour of Chelsea's players in their Champions League last-16 defeat to Paris St Germain was a response to fouls on Eden Hazard during the first-leg in Paris.

Chelsea players surrounded referee Bjorn Kuipers as PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who described the opposition as acting like babies - was sent off for a first-half foul on Oscar.

Nevin, who played for the Blues in the 1980s, says he was on the receiving end of many tough tackles as a player and believes Chelsea's reaction to Ibrahimovic's tackle was an attempt to secure "protection" from the referee.
