Stoke were failing under Tony Pulis - Mark Hughes
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes believes the club were "starting to fail" under former boss Tony Pulis, which is why Hughes was brought in to succeed him.
Hughes takes his Potters side to the Hawthorns on Saturday to face Pulis' West Brom, and believes he has instilled "something else" at the Britannia as he bids to establish Stoke as a top ten side.
After losing back-to-back league and cup matches to local rivals Aston Villa, Hughes says West Brom will want to go on the attack and, in turn, sees an opportunity to continue Stoke's good away form.
