FA proposal: Lack of English players pathetic - Greg Dyke
Football Association chairman Greg Dyke describes the number of English players competing for the top Premier League clubs as "pathetic".
In an interview with BBC sports editor Dan Roan, Dyke warns that English football soon "won't have anything to do with English people" because of the rising number of foreign players - as he unveils two key reforms designed to reduce the number of overseas players and increase the homegrown talent in English football.
He goes on to reveal that he is "a great believer" in using video technology to help referees in the wake of a weekend of high-profile refereeing errors.
