Sunderland 1-0 Newcastle: Dick Advocaat delighted with 'special' win

Dick Advocaat is pleased with a "special" first win as Sunderland boss, after his side beat local rivals Newcastle 1-0 at the Stadium of Light.

Jermain Defoe thumped a stunning looping volley into the top corner from 22 yards to win it for the home team.

The victory was Sunderland's fifth in a row against Newcastle in the Premier League helps them up to 15th in the Premier League table on 29 points.
