Crystal Palace 2-1 Man City: Alan Pardew pleased with character

Manager Alan Pardew praises the character of his Crystal Palace side after a 2-1 victory over defending champions Manchester City at Selhurst Park.

Pardew said the game had a "warped feeling" after Glenn Murray opened the scoring before Jason Puncheon's "outstanding finish" put the hosts 2-0 up.

Yaya Toure's reply led to what the Palace boss described as a few "scary moments", but his side held on for their third consecutive Premier League win.
