Paul Cook: Chesterfield shrugs off Portsmouth approach speculation

Chesterfield boss Paul Cook tells BBC Radio Sheffield he wants the focus to be on his players' promotion efforts, not speculation over his future following interest from managerless Portsmouth.

Cook, 48, was the subject of an approach by League Two side Pompey on Thursday, just two days before the Spireites' game against Bristol City that could secure a play-off place.

While he understands the urgency shown by Portsmouth the Liverpool-born manager is determined not to let the priority shift away from the on-field matters with two games remaining.
