Gareth Bale welcome back at Spurs - Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says the club "are open to receive" Gareth Bale back at White Hart Lane if he is "not comfortable" at Real Madrid.

The Welshman, 25, is approaching the end of his second season with the Spanish giants and has been heavily criticised for his performances, most recently in Real's 2-1 Champions League semi-final first leg defeat at Juventus.

Bale scored 42 goals in 146 appearances for Spurs before heading to the Santiago Bernabeu for a world record £85.3m in 2013, and Pochettino says it is harder than people realise for players to adjust to life in Spain, believing Bale just needs time to succeed.
