Leicester 5-1 QPR: Nigel Pearson hopes Cambiasso will stay
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson says he hopes midfielder Esteban Cambiasso will stay at the club after his side wrapped up their season in style with a 5-1 win over relegated QPR.
Jamie Vardy celebrated his England call-up by putting the hosts in front before Marc Albrighton doubled the Foxes' tally. Leonardo Ulloa, Cambiasso and Andrej Kramaric added further goals after the break with QPR's Charlie Austin, also called-up by England, heading in a consolation.
Pearson's team were bottom of the table and seven points adrift at the beginning of April but have picked up 22 points from the last nine games to avoid relegation, finishing in 14th place with 41 points.
