Stoke boss Mark Hughes says his side's 6-1 thumping of Liverpool at home was a "perfect" end to the season.
Stoke scored three in eight minutes, with Mame Biram Diouf netting a brace and Jonathan Walters also on target. Charlie Adam made it 4-0 from 20 yards before Steven Nzonzi added the fifth from 25 yards. Steven Gerrard got one back before substitute Peter Crouch headed in Stoke's sixth.
Stoke finish the season ninth in the table with a club record 54 points.
