Port Vale striker Louis Dodds says that taking a wage cut to stay with a club where he feels happy and settled was a 'no-brainer'.
Dodds was one of a number of out-of-contract players offered a new deal on reduced terms.
"I like the fans and I think the majority of them like me. It was a no-brainer really," he told BBC Radio Stoke. "I'd been wanting to get it sorted for quite a while."
