McClean 'delight' over West Brom move

James McClean says it was a "no brainer" to join Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, despite receiving an "attractive offer" from Major Soccer League outfit New York Red Bulls.

"I dropped down to the Championship with Wigan but I've worked really hard to get back into the Premier League. That was always my aim," said the Derry-born winger.

McClean has signed a three year-deal with Albion, who agreed a fee of £1.5m with Wigan Athletic for the acquisition of the Republic of Ireland player.
