Women's World Cup 2015: Canada's John Herdman apologises to nation

Canada head coach John Herdman says he is "sorry" for the hosts 2-1 quarter-final defeat to England at the 2015 Women's World Cup in Vancouver.

The County Durham-born boss says his side had "given you our best and it just wasn't good enough".

England reached a World Cup semi-final for the first time in their history and will now face reigning champions Japan on Wednesday.
