Jordan Owens says Crusaders suffered in hot temperatures in Albania. as they conceded two late goals in the 4-1 Champions League Second Qualifying Round first leg defeat by Skenderbeu.
Amid temperatures close to 30 degrees centigrade, Owens pulled a goal back for the Crues on 48 minutes after the home side led 2-0 at half-time but the Albanians scored two late goals to take control of the tie.
"They are full-time footballers and in the last 15 minutes they scored two goals when we were tiring," Owens told BBC Sport.
"We'll give it a go in the second leg at Seaview next week and with the crowd behind us, you never know what will happen."
