Crusaders out of Europe despite battling Seaview win

Crusaders exit from the Champions League qualifiers despite a 3-2 second-leg win over Albanian club Skenderbeu Korce but Colin Coates says the club should be happy with their European efforts.

"We put in a good shift tonight and a good honest performance," said Coates after the Crues exited 6-4 on aggregate.

Stephen O'Flynn put Crusaders aside early in the second half and while the 10-man Albanians moved into a 2-1 lead, late goals from Matthew Snoddy and Andrew Mitchell earned the Irish Premiership champions victory on the night.
