Oxford United midfielder Kemar Roofe admitted he was stunned by his long-range goal against Brentford in his side's 4-0 League Cup first round win.
Roofe's 40-yard lob over goalkeeper Jack Bonham was the pick of the goals at Griffin Park.
"Originally I was going to hit it first time. But, I could see out of the corner of my eye that the keeper was off his line, so I thought I'd take a touch to compose myself," the 22-year-old told BBC Radio Oxford's Nathan Cooper.
Liam Sercombe, Danny Hylton and John Mullins were also on the scoresheet as the League Two side caused an upset against their Championship opponents.
