Portsmouth striker Conor Chaplin credits League Cup winner to fans

Portsmouth striker Conor Chaplin says his winning goal against Derby County in the League Cup first round gave him a special feeling.

Chaplin scored his first goal at home for the club as Pompey upset their Championship opponents with a 2-1 victory.

"I'm not sure it gets any better than that, unless we were playing Barcelona," he told BBC Radio Solent's Andrew Moon.

"In front of these fans, especially to win the game, it means a whole more to me than it did when I scored my first goal for the club away at Morecambe."
