Appleton 'delighted' with comeback

Oxford United manager Michael Appleton was full of his praise for his side after they came from behind to beat Notts County 3-1 in League Two.

Goals from substitute Callum O'Dowda, Kemar Roofe and Danny Hylton saw the Us respond to Thierry Audel's opener for the visitors.

"There were a few players disappointed with themselves at half-time after we went behind," Appleton told BBC Radio Oxford.

"But, to come back from a goal behind and put a performance on like they did in the second half, I'm absolutely delighted."
