Rodgers faces questions on job

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says managers are driven by "a positive fear" of losing their jobs, but insists the prospect of being sacked does not frighten him.

Rodgers' position has come under increased scrutiny in recent days, after a poor start to the Reds' Premier League campaign was followed by a narrow League Cup victory on penalties over Carlisle.

Several out of work coaches, including Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti, have reportedly been linked with Rodgers' job at Anfield, where Liverpool host Aston Villa on Saturday.
