Portadown secure victory over 10-man Ballymena United in the Irish Premiership game at Shamrock Park thanks to Peter McMahon's well taken goal seven minutes from time.

Ken Oman had headed the home side in front in the sixth minute but Neal Gawley fired in an equaliser three minutes later.

Sean Mackle restored his side's advantage, Tony Kane was sent-off for a second bookable offence, and then Matthew Tipton brought the score level again.
