West Brom 1-0 Sunderland: Pulis relief after Baggies' first home win

West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits his team "needed a result" after the Baggies recorded their first home win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Sunderland.

Saido Berahino scored the only goal of the game, poking home from close range when Black Cats goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon was unable to collect Chris Brunt's cross.

West Brom are the only Premier League side yet to score in the opening half hour of a game this season.
