Norwich boss Alex Neil admits his side were "poor" defensively but feels their 6-2 defeat at St James' Park flattered Newcastle.

First-half goals from Dieumerci Mbokani and Nathan Redmond were not enough as Georginio Wijnaldum scored four, with Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic also netting for the home side.
