Swans controlled second half - Monk

Swansea City boss Garry Monk says his side deserved their first Premier League win in six matches, following their 2-1 triumph over Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Andre Ayew scored a late winner for Monk's men, on a day when his brother Jordan had given Villa the lead.

The equaliser coming from Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has now scored (16) or assisted (14) 30 Premier League goals for Swansea, with only former striker Wilfried Bony (31) having been involved in more for the club in the top flight.
