Sunderland 3-0 Newcastle: Steve McClaren rues 'bad decisions'

Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren rues "bad decisions" by the referee for his side's 3-0 Tyne-Wear derby defeat at Sunderland, including a "double-whammy" red card for Fabricio Coloccini and resultant penalty.

Adam Johnson's spot kick before half-time gave the hosts an undeserved lead, after Coloccini was penalised for a push on Steven Fletcher, with Billy Jones' close-range finish and Fletcher's volley sealing the win.

Newcastle have now lost six consecutive derby matches against the Black Cats, and have won just two of their last 21 Premier League matches.
