Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal praises his side's "remarkable" control after a 0-0 draw with neighbours Manchester City at Old Trafford.

The first shot on target came in the 82nd minute, Jesus Navas's effort held by United keeper David de Gea. Jesse Lingard hit the crossbar before City keeper Joe Hart denied United a winner when he tipped Chris Smalling's shot around his near post.

United failed to muster a single first-half shot (including blocked shots) in a Premier League game for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
