Birmingham City's recalled defender Jonathan Spector talks to BBC WM after Tuesday night's goalless draw at home to Blackburn Rovers at St Andrew's.
The 29-year-old former Manchester United defender has been limited mostly to substitute appearances over the last month, since veteran club captain Paul Robinson's successful short-term return to the team.
But Robinson paid the price for Saturday's 2-0 Championship home defeat by Wolves, one of three changes made by Blues manager Gary Rowett
And Spector was proud to be part of Blues' first clean sheet in three games, with the American admitting: "We needed that. It gives us a good base to work from."
