New Derry City manager Kenny Shiels vows to entertain fans
Newly appointed Derry City manager Kenny Shiels says he will make a priority of entertaining fans as he takes over the reins at the Brandywell club.
The former Kilmarnock boss agreed a two-year contract with the Candystripes after being strongly linked with another managerial vacancy, at Irish League club Glentoran.
"The club has so much history and tradition as a footballing city and the lure of full-time football was important to me - it means I can work with the players every day," said Shiels.
