Roy Keane amazed by club bosses' injury pronouncements

Republic of Ireland assistant Roy Keane says he is amazed by some club managers's attempts to prevent players from turning up for international duty.

"I never played too much attention to the club managers but the players always seem to be ruled out for 10 to 14 days. It's amazing. But hey?" said the Republic assistant.

Keane says he is expecting fitness doubts Shane Long, John O'Shea and Rob Elliot to miss the Republic's Euro 2016 play-off against Bosnia-Herzegovina and accepts that the trio have genuine injuries.
