African Footballer of the Year nominee Yacine Brahimi
FC Porto's Yacine Brahimi has become a marked man in both Africa and Europe, but the Algerian, 25, has been adding goals to his stellar wingplay, netting a career-best 13 last season, while helping his Portuguese side contest its first Champions League quarter-final in six years.
One of the winger's brightest achievements came in the same tournament last season, where the number of dribbles he successfully performed prior to the semi-final stage was only bettered by Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.
Voting for the award opened at 1055GMT on Saturday 14 November and closed at 1800GMT on Monday 30 November.
The winner will be revealed in a special show on BBC World News at 1530GMT on Friday 11 December.
