Peter Murphy's health is Morecambe's priority - Jim Bentley

Peter Murphy's recovery from a blood clot on the lung is the most important concern, Morecambe boss Jim Bentley tells BBC Radio Lancashire.

The Shrimps boss has been without his 25-year-old captain since the opening day of the season when he tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee.

That injury, and the subsequent lack of mobility, led to a blockage and blood clot in the lung which he has just recovered from, and is continuing to see a specialist with a view to finally returning to training.
