Reading: Brian McDermott wants time to solve long-term issues

Reading boss Brian McDermott tells BBC Radio Berkshire that his side needs time to solve long-term issues.

The Royals, who are 14 points adrift of the play-off places after claiming just one win in six league games, have failed to score more than once in a Championship game since 21 November - five games before McDermott took charge of the club.
