Seaview game a 'must-win' for Carrick

Dungannon Swifts boss Rodney McAree says bottom-placed Carrick Rangers will feel that they have to win Wednesday's Irish Premiership game at Seaview.

Douglas Wilson's late goal earned Dungannon a 2-2 draw against Carrick three weeks ago and the Swifts followed that with three successive wins to edge towards safety.

Dungannon now lie eighth, four spots and eight points above basement club Carrick but Rangers manager Gary Haveron remains optimistic going into Wednesday's game.

"We should have beaten Dungannon a couple of weeks ago but they scored a screamer in injury-time," says Haveron.

"We have still got to take confidence from that game."
