'We fly to every away match in India'

Michael Collins left Oxford United by mutual consent in January and was set to join another English club, only for the deal to fall through at the 11th hour.

Instead, the next day he agreed to sign for Indian I-League side Bengaluru FC. and is now adjusting to life thousands of miles away from home.

"I never saw myself playing in India but I have been massively surprised by the whole country with regards to it's attitude towards football," the 29-year-old tells BBC Radio Oxford.

"I have been pleasantly surprised by the standard and it's a lot more challenging than I thought it would be."
