Northern Ireland goalkeeper Roy Carroll says watching videos of previous Milivoje Novakovic penalties helped him save the Slovenian's spot kick in Tuesday's friendly at Windsor Park.
Conor Washington's first-half goal put Michael O'Neill's side ahead and Carroll's penalty save helped Northern Ireland set a new record for the country of 10 international games unbeaten.
"I've been watching the penalties the last two days. I guessed the right way. He went down that way before in the two penalties I watched on the videos," Carroll, 38, told BBC Sport Northern Ireland's Mark Sidebottom.
Carroll made his Northern Ireland debut as a 19-year-old in 1997 and Monday's game was his 43 international cap.
