Jeffrey targets vital Ballymena points

David Jeffrey is urging Ballymena United to take something from their Irish Premiership game against Irish Cup finalists Glenavon at Mourneview Park on Tuesday night.

The Sky Blues are six points clear of the relegation play-off spot and manager Jeffrey, who was impressed with Glenavon's display in their 4-3 Irish Cup semi-final win over Crusaders, wants his team to secure top flight survival as soon as possible.

Carrick Rangers host Cliftonville in Tuesday's other league encounter. Scores updates via @BBCSPORTNI on Twitter.
