Ballinamallard win basement battle against Warrenpoint

Ballinamallard United move four points clear of the automatic relegation place with 2-0 victory over bottom side Warrenpoint Town.

Shane McCabe and Ryan Campbell were on target for Whitey Anderson's side in the basement battle at Ferney Park, which saw the Fermanagh men move above Carrick Rangers into 10th position in the table.

The visitors were forced to play much of the game with 10 men after Stephen Hughes was dismissed in the ninth minute, while Ivan Sproule was sent-off 10 minutes into the second half.
