Ballymena United continue unbeaten run under boss Jeffrey

Ballymena United maintain their unbeaten run under new manager David Jeffrey with a 2-0 victory over Carrick Rangers at Taylor's Avenue.

David Cushley opened the scoring with a long-range free-kick while substitute Michael Ruddy added the second with 10 minutes remaining.

The Sky Blues remain seventh in the table but Carrick drop to 11th place, two points ahead of bottom club Warrenpoint.
