Alex Govan, who gave Birmingham City their 'Keep right on' anthem, dies at 86

Former Birmingham City player Alex Govan, the man who gave the club their famous "Keep right on" anthem, has died at the age of 86.

Speaking in 2011, the Glasgow-born outside-left, who scored 60 goals in 187 games for Blues between 1953 and 1958, told BBC WM that Harry Lauder's ditty was adopted after he sung it on the team bus during the club's run to the FA Cup final in 1956.
