Nigeria FA president Amaju Pinnick on Caf elections

Nigeria's football head Amaju Pinnick tells the BBC he will vote for Madagascar's Ahmad Ahmad in next month's Confederation of African Football elections. Pinnick believes the time has come for change, with incumbent Issa Hayatou of Cameroon having taken charge in 1988.

Underpinning his belief is what he calls a strained relationship between Hayatou and Fifa President Gianni Infantino. Although Infantino brought in an African - Senegal's Fatma Samoura - as Fifa general secretary, Pinnick believes the relationship was damaged when Caf ordered its members to vote for Bahraini candidate Sheikh Salman in the 2016 Fifa elections.
