Glenavon beat Swifts to secure top-six place

Glenavon secure their spot in the top six of the Irish Premiership with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Dungannon Swifts at Mourneview Park.

David Elebert gave the hosts the breakthrough with a first-half header, with Gary Hamilton’s side securing the points through a James Gray strike.

The win confirms Glenavon’s place in the top half of the table before the split on 25 March, with Dungannon now confirmed as finishing in the bottom half.
