McLaren team boss says Button and Hamilton can race each other
McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh says Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are free to race each other down to the first corner in Malaysia, even though it will be nerve-wracking for him on the pit wall.
The McLaren drivers occupy the front row of the grid in Kuala Lumpur and, after being beaten to turn one last time out in Australia, Whitmarsh expects Hamilton will want to get his own back on Button at Sepang.
Whitmarsh also says he was suprised to see Sebastian Vettel set his best time in Q3 on hard tyres, but feels it was the smart thing to do and may hand him an advantage in the race on Sunday.
