Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying - top three drivers

Lewis Hamilton is relieved after an "intense" and "exciting" qualifying session at Sepang, in which he took McLaren's first pole position in Malaysia ahead of team-mate Jenson Button and Michael Schumacher.

Button predicts a tight first corner with Schumacher "renowned for getting good starts", with the seven-time world champion confident his Mercedes team have found the "best compromise" between qualifying pace and race strategy after struggling during the race last time out in Australia.
