Malaysian Grand Prix: Sergio Perez rues missing out on win
Sauber's Sergio Perez is delighted to have claimed his first ever podium in F1 after finishing second at the Malaysian Grand Prix but is disappointed to have made a mistake whilst chasing down leader and eventual winner Fernando Alonso.
Perez was just 0.6s behind Alonso on lap 50 when he made the mistake meaning he was unable to try and take the lead from the Ferrari driver.
Sauber team boss Peter Sauber is full of praise for Perez and for the team strategy saying it was a "miracle" they managed to stay in second place.
