US Grand Prix: Hamilton talks through Texas lap

Lewis Hamilton talks through the lap that earned him second place on the grid for Sunday's US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.

The McLaren driver was pipped to pole by Red Bull's championship leader Sebastian Vettel, and explains to BBC Sport's Jake Humphrey, Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard he would prefer to start from third place than second, due to the expected lack of grip on the left-hand side of the start-finish straight.

Hamilton has two races remaining with McLaren before making the switch to Mercedes for 2013.
