Chinese GP: Lewis Hamilton's maiden Mercedes pole an 'incredible feeling'

Lewis Hamilton describes his maiden pole position for Mercedes as an "incredible feeling" as he sets the fastest lap in qualifying for Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix.

The 2008 world champion was nearly 0.3 seconds quicker than Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen, who will line up second on the grid, while Ferrari's Fernando Alonso qualified third.

Hamilton, who left McLaren to join his new team at the end of last season, says it will be "a dream" to win but is cautious of how his tyres will perform during the race.
