Remembering an F1 maverick - James Hunt

BBC Sport looks back at the flamboyant and sometimes controversial career of James Hunt, who died 20 years ago today.

Hunt started out in F1 in 1973 for the Hesketh Racing team, before moving to McLaren and winning the world championship in 1976.

After retiring in 1979 Hunt joined the BBC F1 team and formed a legendary partnership with commentator Murray Walker.
