Lewis Hamilton leads Nico Rosberg in a Mercedes one-two in first practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The session also saw two pit lane mix-ups, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Force India's Sergio Perez both suffering as a result of mistakes by their respective teams.
Alonso stopped in the pit lane after being released from his garage on a mixed set of tyre compounds, which is against the rules. While Force India mis-timed a late practice pit stop and left Perez stranded at the end of the pit lane as the chequered flag fell.
Alonso set the third-fastest time ahead of Force India's Nico Hulkenberg, with Jenson Button making it four Mercedes-powered cars in the top five ahead of his 250th grand prix start.
