Susie Wolff says "it was a really tough day" after the driver's Formula 1 debut ended when her car had an oil pressure problem which cut the engine.
Wolff, talking to BBC Sport's Lee McKenzie, goes on to thank her supporters: "I want to say a huge thank you for all the support - it means a lot and really helps. It was wonderful."
Wolff is the first woman to take part in a competitive Formula 1 session for 22 years. The 31-year old Scot will get one more shot in first practice at the next race which takes place in Hockenheim, Germany.
